He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Gidney (Tyson) of Cherryville, Sally Strutt of Lincolnton and Sara Strutt of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Zion Beam Strutt, Teaghan Elijah Strutt, Raylei Giana Gidney, Layla Senae Strutt, Marley Jayne Daniels and Jakobe Kye Gidney; his sister-in-law Jane Buchanan; and his nephew William Shane Black.
