It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rachel Boswell of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Ray Chitwood and Sally Mae Medlock Chitwood; her husband Henry Ellis Boswell; her daughter Daphne Webb; her siblings, Charles Chitwood, Harold Chitwood, Donnie Chitwood, Joyce Arms, Ruth Gossett, Hazel Long, Jean Simpson and Alice Leona Crain-Lewis; and her granddaughter Marcia Neal Price.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Fortenberry (Steve), Kandice Neal (Ben) and Cheryl Miller (Larry); her sisters, Opal Helms, Carolyn "Cookie" Peacock (Jerry) and Linda Pipes (Glen); and her grandchildren, Greg Neal (Kristin), Mark Neal (Dottie), Brandon Stowe and Shannon LaCount Massey (Jason). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
