He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Jefferson Seagle and Viola Mauney Seagle; his wife Brenda Brackett Seagle; his grandson Ryan Troy Seagle; and his siblings, Ava Lorene Upton, Ruby Wright, Walter "Lee" Seagle and John David "J. D.".
He is survived by: his children, Hubert Paul Seagle, Jr. (Missy), Lisa Roach (Ernie) of Cherryville and Paula Quinn (Michael) of Cherryville; and his sister Mary Lou Brittain of Sebring, Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
