Parker (Cherryville, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 98, on February 22, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Zero Parker and Hester Canipe Parker; and his brothers, Doyle Parker and Gene Parker. He is survived by: his wife Betty Irvin Parker; his children, Michael R. Parker (San Dee Sheftall) of Asheville, Susan Parker Mauney (Mike) of Nashville, NC and Emily Powell of Lawndale; his sister Genell McKinney of Ellenboro; and his grandchildren, Laura Davis (Jason), Angela Russell (Chris), Leslie Johnson (Alan), Kayla Powell, Krista Powell and Katherine Powell. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
