He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Gardner and Estelle Peeler Grigg; his former wife Peggy Richard Grigg; his son Richard Neal Grigg; and his son-in-law Michael Pruett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wray Grigg; his daughter Paula Grigg Pruett of Ellenboro; his grandchildren, Robbie Pruett and Kimberly Mullinax (Frankie); his great grandchildren, Karley Mullinax, Blaine Pruett and Keegan Pruett; and his stepchildren, Scott Warlick (Melissa), Lisa Saurborn (Mike) and Lynn Coker (John).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090).
