With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pat McGinnis of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Eunice Sneed Brown; and her husband George David McGinnis. She is survived by: her children, Mike "Dango" Dellinger of Cherryville, Curt Dellinger (Sharon) of Stanley, Lynn Bowen (Steve) of Cherryville and Patti Taylor (Eric) of Lincolnton; her stepdaughter Debbie Sessoms (Bill) of Salemburg; her brother Bill Sneed of Cherryville; her grandchildren, Katie Bowen of Belmont, Kent Bowen (Amanda) of Concord, Austin Harris of Lincolnton, Mac Harris of Lincolnton, Caroline Furr (Palmer) of Stanley and Travis Dellinger (Courtney) of Oak Island; her stepgrandson Will Sessoms of Arlington, VA; and her great grandchildren, Grier Bowen, Blake Bowen, Quinn Bowen, Addison Furr, Braxton Furr and Emery Dellinger.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 601 N. Pink Street, Cherryville, NC 28021.
