She was predeceased by: her parents, William David and Lillian Hester Mellon Owens. She is survived by: her husband George Eddie Childers; her children, Bo Childers (Kaela) of Lawndale and Wendy Dawson (Dwayne) of Lawndale; her siblings, Ronnie Owens (Kathy) of Casar, Lillian Sue Hudson of Lawndale and Cathy Elaine Dotson (John) of Lawndale; her grandchildren, Skyler Tessneer (Luke), Avery Childers, Tripp Childers, Eli Dawson, Natalie Childers and Lily Childers; and her great grandchildren, Colton and Cooper.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA 28042). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
