It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar R. Hullender (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James W. Hullender and Lizzie Grigg Hullender; and his daughters, Sherri Denise Hullender Beasley and Kathy Elaine Hullender Driggers. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Daves Hullender; and his children, Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Hullender and Steven Hullender (Vanessa) of Kings Mountain. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
