She was predeceased by: her father Garland J. Tessnair; her grandparents, Vester, Nadine Tessnair and Jack Gettys; and her aunt Tammy Lee.
She is survived by: her mother Sherry McNaughton; her daughter Jenny Tallent; her grandmother Viola Hoppes of Rutherfordton; her stepmother Karen Tessnair Shelton of Marion; her siblings, Ashley Tessnair of Marion, Elizabeth Williams (James) of Forest City, Billie Jean Tessnair of Marion and Matthew Cooley of Rutherfordton; her cousins, Cody Cole of Ellenboro and Cheyenne Davis of Ellenboro; her close friend Megan Gossett of Ellenboro; and her nieces and nephews, Brealyn, Mavorick, Emma and Bryson. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
