Miles Gantt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miles Gantt of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Crouse, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Austin and Docia Bridges Gantt; his wife Hazel Mauney Gantt; his daughter Shirley Gantt Hines; his great grandchild Trent Gardo; and his siblings, Houston, Leonard, Ed, Marshall and Cleat Gantt.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Gantt (Lisa) of Lincolnton and Brenda Gantt of Cherryville; his son-in-law John Hines of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Jeff Hines and Teresa Gardo; his nephew Steve (Patty Gantt); and his daughter Donna. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great -great granddaughter.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions face coverings and social distancing will be observed.
