With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Blanton of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Blanton and Katherine Payne Blanton; his wife Norma Lee Hester Blanton; his siblings, Danny Blanton, Sarah Weaver, Gail Graham and Rachel Ledford; and his nephew Todd Weaver.
He is survived by: his daughter Brandy Blanton Swink (Brian); his granddaughters, Paige Anthony (Cameron Long) and Macenzie Seagle (Austin); his siblings-in-law, Patty Dellinger (Tim) and Ronnie Weaver; his nieces and nephews, April Morales, Rita Cunningham, Trina Henderson, Leslie Sawyer, Lawrence Hamrick, Kim Ledford, Jeff Ledford and Brittany Link; and also Tod Darty.
