She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Hugh Brown and Gertrude Grigg Brown; and her close friend Dr. Carole Hildebrand. She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Brown Howell of Cherryville and Perry Brown of Waco; and her nieces and nephews, Dr. Anika Howell Hastings, Dr. Alan Brown, Angie Maichle, Nicholas Brown, Sophia Hastings and Kamryn Maichle.
