He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Edward Costner and Oveda Martin Costner; and his siblings, Linda Sue Costner and Lawrence Edward "Eddie" Costner, Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Ella Grigg (Ray) of Cherryville and Brenda Fitch (Dewey) of Cherryville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
