It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Mitchell (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on July 3, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Lee and Sarah Mae Creasman Smith; her husband George H. Mitchell; and her siblings, Kenneth Smith, Jessie Smith, Mary Barnwell and Lois Bartlet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deena W. Rogers (Keith) of Vale, Sandra W. Smith (Bert) and Margo Mitchell of Rural Hall; her sisters, Ella Allen and Ruth Wilson; her sister-in-law Edna Smith; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Cunningham, Jennifer Cunningham, Harold Smith, Denise Rogers and David Rogers.
