Mable Baxter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mable Baxter of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Tedder and Mattie Reynolds Tedder; her husband Thomas W. Baxter, Sr.; her daughters, Linda Baxter and Ann Baxter Stanley; her son-in-law Larry Stanley; and her grandson Thomas Baxter, III.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Baxter, Jr. (Karen) and Kathy Baxter of Cherryville; her sister Juanita Ballam of California; and her grandchildren, Steven Baxter (Johnna), Melissa Avery (David), Larry Stanley, Jr. and Malinda Smith (Allen). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
