We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2018, at the age of 91, Laverne Buzz Eaker (Cherryville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David T. Eaker; her parents, David William Busby, Sr. and Mattie Geneva Penningar; and her brother Bill Busby. She is survived by: her son Eddie Eaker; her daughter-in-law Cindy Eaker; her sisters, Ethel McIntyre of Florence, SC and Ann Thompson of Hamlet, NC; her grandchildren, Jason Eaker (Christy) of Lincolnton, NC and Jan Bowser (Rod) of Melbourne; and her great grandchildren, Kiersen Eaker and Landrie Eaker.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 156 Corporate Blvd. Indian Trail, NC 28079.
