It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Summer (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Summer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carlyle Summer, Jr. and Eva Catherine Beam Summer; and his sister Janice Summer. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Turner Summer; his children, Tom Summer (Sharon) of Gastonia, Cindy Summer of Cherryville and Cathy Smiley (Jeff) of Denver; his grandchildren, Brittany Summer Gregory (Matt), Thomas Carlyle Summer, Grace Smiley and Graham Smiley; his great grandchild Jack Gregory; and his brothers, Garry Summer (Connie) of Shelby and Oren Summer (Ann) of Cherryville. He is also survived by his family, his 67 year marriage to the love of his life and his children and grandchildren.
