It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Wright (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryson McKinley Wright and Ruby Mae Hoyle Wright; his son Jonathan Steven Wright; and his siblings, Ray Wright, Bryson Wright, Jr., Alan Wright and Catherine Towery.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Wright of Ellenboro, Trina McSwain of Ellenboro, Alice Bell (Chad) of Kings Mountain, Tina Stadler (Darrell) of Lawndale and Tammy Mote (Jamie) of Cherryville; and his siblings, Randy Wright (Wanda) of Casar, Steve Wright of Casar, Harold Wright of Casar, Lisa Hudson of Connelly Springs, Gail Buff of Shelby, Mildred Brackett of Casar, Pauline Wright of Casar and Barbara Rhyne of Vale. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A reception was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090).
