He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris S. Childers and Bobbie Helms Childers; and his brother Doug Childers. He is survived by: his wife Jill Thornburg Childers; his daughters, Brooke Ramsey (Ted) and Katy Geymont (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Jackson, Gemma Geymont and Harper Lane Ramsey; and his brothers, Todd Childers (Jennifer) and Kip Childers (Stacy).
