It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Willis Taylor (Cherryville, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Lee Taylor; her children, Donna Taylor, Teresa Taylor and Dennis Taylor; and her siblings, Garry, Dwight, David Willis, Annie Ferrell, Velma Hartsoe and Ruth Ledbetter.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie McSwain (Dean) of Cherryville; her grandchildren, Heather King (Chris), Lacey Towery, Chris Jenkins and Carlee Huss; her great grandchildren, Zane, Paizlee, Preslee, Wyatt, Hazen, Abby and Brantley; and her sisters, Inez Willis, Hazel Hartsoe, Virgie Heavner, Judy Gales and Brenda Cook.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the home on Sorrells Baxter Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Dr. Lincolnton, NC 28092.
