She was predeceased by: her parents, James Black and Ava Wise Black; her husband Douglas Wiegel; her son Michael Wiegel; and her siblings, James Black and Sue Sneed.
She is survived by: her son Terry Wiegel (Lynn); her sisters, Betty Jane Robinson of Cherryville and Nez Hovis of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Jillian, Alexander and Steven; and her great grandchildren, Nell and Henry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
