She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Otis Howell and Mozella Horton Kiser. She is survived by: her husband David Ryon Stephens; her children, Ray Otis Howell (Kourtney) of Cherryville and Retera Turlington (Darrell) of Gastonia; her grandchildren, David Howell, Aliyah Howell, Ladarren Turlington, Caleb Turlington and Davis Turlington; and her siblings, Cathy Howell of Lenior, Lisa Howell of Lenior, Gloria Potts of Lenior, Sharon Houpe and Jimmy Howell of Charlotte.
