He is survived by: his son John David Helms (Audrey) of Newton, NC; his granddaughters, Alison Helms Ellison (Brad) and Christina Helms Little (James); and his siblings-in-law, Henry L. Jolly (Mary) of Gaffney, Diane Jolly Garber (Gary) of Gaffney and Nancy Jolly Garner (Ron) of Gaffney.
