He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Matthew Bowman and Neva Towery Bowman; his wife Barbara Roberts Bowman; his son-in-law Benny Price; and his siblings, Mike Bowman, Joann Goodman and Ruth Bowman.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Price of Shelby and Eddie Bowman (Leslie) of Stanley; and his grandchildren, Nicole Jones, Matthew Mode, Leah Ledbetter, Caroline, Tate, Maigan and Seth Bowman. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
