He was predeceased by: his father Roger Dale Simmons; his wife Angela Lee Cook Peeler; and his sons, Casey Dale Peeler and Jason Peeler. He is survived by: his mother Myrtle Brown Simmons; his children, Amber Donaldson (Lance) and Josh Peeler (Nicole); his siblings, Drake Simmons, Dana Simmons Auton (Clarence) and Kesha Simmons Elmore (Kenny); his grandchildren, Aiden Peeler, Bentley, Adalynn Donaldson and Kenai Peeler; and his great grandchild Enzo Peeler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carpenter Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery (300 E Church St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
Memorials may be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
