He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil F. Heavner and Vergie Mauney Heavner; and his siblings, Dennis L. Heavner and Sabra Thornburg. He is survived by: his wife Judy Phillips Heavner; and his daughters, Donna Sain (Mike) of Lincolnton, Pam Childers (Steve) of Cherryville, Jana Crow of Lincolnton and Tracy Heavner of Cherryville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
