She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Richard "Hot Shot" Black and Inez Black; and her brother Donnie Black. She is survived by: her son Ryan "Gray" Scott of New York; and her siblings, Carolyn Cooke (Bill) of New London, NC, Trudy Johnson (Johnny) of Cherryville and Todd Black of Cherryville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the City Memorial Cemetery (300 E Church St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
