She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Freddie Short and Luttie Ursula Hutchens; her husband Alfred N. Reynolds, Sr.; her stepchildren, Alfred Reynolds, Jr., William "Bill" Reynolds and Melody Ann; and her children-in-law, Gail Ramsey Reynolds and Michael A. Wooten.

She is survived by: her children, James N. Reynolds of Cherryville, NC, Timothy Reynolds of Kings Mountain, NC, Rebecca Waters of Gastonia, NC and Precilla Wooten of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Council on Aging & Senior Center, 100 T R Harris Dr, Shelby, NC 28150.
