She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Edgar Newton and Texie Mozell Canipe Newton; her husband Dink Clayton Moses; her grandson Kelly McNeilly; and her siblings, Ralph Newton, Junior Newton, Joann Martin, Marie Spade, Sue Walker and Ruby Swafford.
She is survived by: her children, Norris Moses (Justine) of Casar, Charles Moses (Shoney) of Casar, Wayne Moses (Debbie) of Casar, David Moses (Carolyn) of Casar, Ronnie Moses (Lynette) of Casar, Nadine Lail (Robert) of Casar, Mary McNeilly (Archie) of Casar and Peggy Moses of Casar; her sisters, Sarah Hazel Crawley of Vale and Mary Lou Buff of Morganton; her grandchildren, Charlie Moses, Daniel Moses, Daphne Cabiness, Nelson Moses, Ashley Murray, Lindsay Moses, Kim Edwards and Brittany Moses; and her stepgrandchild Dereck Bevel. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
