He is survived by: his spouse Jeanette Kiser Hoyle; his daughter Beth Hoyle Jones of Lincolnton; his sister Barbara Hoyle Gutierrez; his grandchild John Jones; and his great grandchildren, Emma Abee, Melanie, Meredith, Sierra and Abbigail Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
