We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2024, at the age of 93, Edith Helen Wise (Cherryville, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Helen Wise to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Guy Detter and Cora Lee Martin Detter; her husband Eugene Wise; her daughter Helen; her daughter-in-law Becky Wise; and her siblings, Hubert Detter, Grady Detter, Carroll Detter and Marie Parker.
She is survived by: her sons, Howard (Glenda Wise), Jimmy Wise, Dale (Mary Wise) and Dean (Katie Wise); her grandchildren, Shawn Duncan, Denise Heavner, Deanna Pope, Jeremy Wise, Douglas Wise, Matthew Wise, Jennifer Gibson, Johnathan Wise and Daniel Wise; and her caregiver Linda Elliott. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (1156 Northbrook III School Rd, Vale, NC 28168). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
