She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Scott Hayes, Allison of Cherryville, Jerry Coleman Hayes, Kathy Morelock of Atlanta, Ashley Hayes Goodson and Kevin of Newton; her grandchildren, A. J. Hayes, Ben Hayes and Addison Goodson; her brother Fred Coleman Day of Cherryville; her nephew Jason Day (Stacie); and her great-nieces, Maggie and Ila Day.
