With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Leonhardt Lail (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stowe Leonhardt and Ann Leonhardt of North Brook; and her sister Jane Carswell. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy R. Lail; her daughters, Robin Goins (Wayne) of Salisbury and Kristen Willis (Ed) of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Travis Goins (Amy White), Heather Goins Alexander (J. C. Alexander), Braden Willis and Graham Willis; her great grandchildren, Dylan and Lucas Alexander; and her siblings, Joyce Lail (Darrell), Elizabeth Carroll (Tommy) and Bill Leonhardt (Karen). She is also survived by 2 loving parents with her sisters and a brother.
The family requests that attendees wear a mask and observe social distancing.
