He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Theodore Wortman and Mittie Newton Wortman; and his sisters, Mavis Peacock, Connie Nedlock (Wesley) and Carol Garner (Harold).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Pruett Wortman; his children, Chris Wortman (Regina) of Casar and Wendy Davidson (Dean) of Casar; his grandchildren, Garrett Davidson and Mackenzie Wortman; and his brother-in-law Ron Peacock.
