It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Wellmon Helms (Cherryville, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemmie "Chick" Lee Wellmon and Ruby Jane Costner Wellmon; and her brother Bobby Wellmon. She is survived by: her children, Bryan Helms (Nicole) of Shelby and Amanda Myers (David) of Chantilly, VA; her brothers, Bill Wellmon (Ethel) of Polkville and Mike Wellmon (Pam) of Fallston; and her grandchildren, Jordan Smith (Stephen), Tyler Helms and Savanna Myers.
