David Blanton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2025, at the age of 71, David Blanton of Cherryville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Blanton to pay them a last tribute.

Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Benjamin "Benny" and Mozelle Poole Blanton; and his son Chase Blanton. He is survived by: his wife Betty Whitworth Blanton; his son Keith Blanton (Christina); his grandchildren, Jayden Blanton, Ja'Mya Blanton and Michael Blanton; and his sister-in-law Vickey Silver.
