Splawn (Scott) of Gastonia and Windy Kirby Gibson (David) of Cherryville; his stepson Jason Nixon (Jennifer) of Gastonia; his brothers, James Kirby (Linda) of Kings Mountain and Charles Kirby (Betty) of Bessemer City; his sisters-in-law, Marion Clemmer of Gastonia and Jean Sosebee of Bessemer City; his grandchildren, Jordan Kirby, Jeremy Eaves, Brent Metcalf, Zak Splawn and Luke Splawn; and his great grandchild Brandon Nixon.
