She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Grindstaff and Hattie Greene Grindstaff; and her husband James H. Parker, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Diane Kern (Alan) and James H. "Jimmy" Parker, Jr. (Sandy) of Cherryville; and her grandson James Alex Parker of New York.
