He was predeceased by: his mother Judy Banks Colgate; his grandparents, Virginia, Sam Colgate, Dean and Ford Sanders; and his brother-in-law Tanner Bowers.
He is survived by: his wife Shellie; his daughter Payton Deluca (Jacob); his stepchildren, Megan Smith (Jerimiah) and Austin Bowen; his grandchildren, Wes, Everett and Jax; his father Tom Colgate (Lee); his siblings, James Colgate (Amy) and Kendal Colgate Bowers; and his nieces and nephews, Jackson Bowers, Weston Bowers, Madison, Caroline Colgate and Kaelyn Bowers.
