She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Gaines and Floride Peden Gaines. She is survived by: her husband Billy P. Sneed; her children, Phyllis Sneed of Charlotte and Dr. Benjamin Sneed (Christina Salidis) of Charlottesville, VA; her grandchildren, Aiden and Jedidiah Sneed; and her sister Amelia Britt of Franklin, VA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
