She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Gideon Newton and Sulie Kay Carpenter Newton; her husband Lloyd Bumgarner; her son-in-law Larry Craig; and her siblings, Bonnie Farmer, Ralph, Frank, Wilbur, Joe, Robert and Keith Newton.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki B. Craig of Lincolnton and Michael "Doodle" Bumgarner (Jane) of Cherryville; her grandsons, Tim Bumgarner, David Bumgarner and Matt Craig; her great grandchildren, Kyle, Chris, Cash, Taelyn, Brett and Chase; and her great great grandchild Ares. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
