She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Putnam and Jackie Sullivan Putnam. She is survived by: her children, Scott Carpenter, Deaver Carpenter, Chris Carpenter, Damon Fields and Kimberly Carpenter; her siblings, Hugh Putnam (Eva) of Greer, SC and Susan Beam (Steve) of Cherryville, NC; and her grandchildren, Ashley Earl, Aaron Carpenter, Alexa Shull, Christian Carpenter, Alesha Hobbs, Savannah Carpenter and Chandler Carpenter. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 601 N. Pink St., Cherryville, NC 28021.
