It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlyle Derrill Beam (Cherryville, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Beam (Maida) and Ruth Beam Bell. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bell Philbeck Beam; his children, Melissa Beam Kale (Scott) of Cherryville and Carl Beam (Wendi) of Cherryville; his brothers, Hudson Beam Jr. (Frances) of Bessemer City and Ronnie Beam (Brenda) of Cherryville; his brother-in-law Joe Bell of Kings Mountain; his grandchildren, Katlyn Kale (Ryan Earle) of Camp Lejeune, Tyler Beam (Jordan) of Cherryville, Andrew Beam and Anna Grace Beam of Cherryville; and his great grandchild James Derrill Beam of Cherryville.
