It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Wellmon (Cherryville, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemmie "Chick" Lee Wellmon and Ruby Costner Wellmon; his wife Ethel Lail Wellmon; and his siblings, Bobby Wellmon and Diane Helms.
He is survived by: his son Jacob Wellmon (Kristie) of Casar; his grandchildren, Abbie Wellmon (Joshua Lindsay) of Casar and Mason Wellmon of Casar; his brother Michael Wellmon (Pam) of Fallston; and his brother-in-law JC Helms of Polkville.
