He was predeceased by: his parents, CJ Waters and Myra Greene Waters; and his wife Doris Dotson Waters. He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Waters Hopper (Fred Rudder) of Kings Mountain, NC; his grandson Trent Hopper (Kristen) of Chapel Hill; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Eli and Lila Hopper.
