With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Ramsey Cloninger of Cherryville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelly Jacob Ramsey and Hallie Smith Ramsey Dellinger; her husband Grady Leon Cloninger; her brother David Kelly Ramsey; her son-in-law Bill Sherrill; her nieces, Ginger Ramsey and Jane Ramsey; her nephew Ronnie Ramsey; and her pets, Angel (Blue Heeler) and Snow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol C. Sain and Penny C. Sherrill; her grandsons, Kelly Homesley (Trudie) and Philip Sain (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Dayne Homesley, Allie Kay Homesley, Brylee Sain and Noah Sain; her niece Linda Lovelace; and her nephews, Kelly Ramsey, Roger Ramsey and Bruce Ramsey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (1203 St Marks Church Rd, Cherryville, NC 28021). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
