She was predeceased by: her parents, Berge Coley and Annie Beam Huss; her husband Ford Jerome McSwain; her son-in-law Daniel Dixon; and her siblings, Bud, Jack Huss and Lois Hayes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Mauney (Berry), Vickie Dixon and Shannon Holt (William); her grandchildren, Stacey Black Glover (Shane), Michael Dale Black (Laurie), Annie Neeley Cranford (Victor) and Amber Smiley (Justin); her great grandchildren, Autumn Hight (Justin), Brandon Glover, Dominick Cranford Caldera, Trent Black, Tripp Black, Bella Black and Mallory Black; and her great great grandchildren, Brentlie Hight and Ryker Hight.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring Hospice of Catawba or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
