With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Joeann Redman of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Joeann Redman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Eugene and Georgia Mae Cole Qualls; her sons, Charles Ellis Hatcher, Kirk Anthony Hatcher and William Albert Redman; her granddaughter Shelby Danielle Hatcher; and her siblings, Margie Sue Lockett and Marion Eugene Qualls.
She is survived by: her son Keith Allen Hatcher; her daughter-in-law Donna Hatcher; her siblings, Mabel Ruth McNally, Herman Fred Qualls and Allen Young Qualls (Martha); and her grandsons, Jeremy Hatcher (Jenny), Scott Hatcher (Monica), Michael Hatcher (Tina), Billy Hatcher and Derek Checkley. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Hendryx New Palestine Chapel (19 E Main St, New Palestine, IN 46163). A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the New Palestine Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hendryx New Palestine Chapel (19 E Main St, New Palestine, IN 46163).
