He is survived by: his parent Margaret Gehring (Lucassen); his wife Kathleen Gehring (Kraus); his children, Bernard Francis Gehring, III (Sara), Eric Michael Gehring (Christine), Adam Charles Gehring (Cayce) and Matthew Gordon Gehring (Izabella); his brother Gordon J. Gehring (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Lillian, Lucas, Chloe, Tyler, Lacey and Schylar.
