He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmore Stanton and Prudence Stanton; his siblings, Tommy Stanton, Billy Stanton and Janie Bracey (Steve); and his son-in-law Marty Rudisill.
He is survived by: his significant other Anita Breeden Stanton; his children, Lynne Blanton, Pam Stanton, Jennifer Rudisill and Charles Stanton; and his grandchildren, Jonathon, Zachary, Madison, Ava Jade and Jackson.
